  • Does it have to be Self-Affliction?

    I realized that when we are calm people are more leaning towards calmness too.  I guess it is the vibes that we expose to others that makes them reflect the same way.  Not all cases though but it makes sense to think that if we are weary, others might sound weary too.
    So I guess, the way to make someone understand you is if we give people time to understand.  It is in their own freewill that will allow them to have a space to realize that there must be something good in the way we have explained it. If they are not ready to listen, then it means they just need time to be able to grasp the unimaginable which may be important to us and not to them.  I guess compromises help people to understand each other's weaknesses that we sometimes have to succumb to the frailties which gives us knowledge that we thought could not have been explored.

    We all thirst in some way or another and we will one day seek His mighty help and divine providence & salvation.

    John 7:37 On the last day, that great [day] of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink."

    Matthew 9:29 Then He touched their eyes, saying, "According to your faith let it be to you."

    Bless your Tender Heart for seeing this,many Christians are to quick to pull out their guns and start firing away, forgetting that we are to lead the person to Christ not drag them. we tend to make others feel that Christ's yoke is a burden instead of light and easy.

    In the counseling field this what we call a grace space and with empathy and a genuine care for the person we are working with we create a safe haven for change and growth to take place.

    I hope this message Blesses others as well

    @str8tguy69@xanga - Thank you for appreciating my blog.  I myself needs to be reminded by these.  We are but humans who need to be reminded or for one day we will be needing that water to refill our faith.  I ask for strength and guidance knowing that we all sometimes stumble too requiring someone to reach out to us.

    Rev.22:1. And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

    Water makes life more fruitful and abundant using a river as an example it makes all that it touches green and flourish, animals and fish live in and from it, the birds are always more abundant around water, it is the well spring of life.

    "He that believeth on [in] me , as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. Jn. 7:38 {KJV 1906}

    Very well said.  We all need words of encouragement through a loving community like this.  God makes a way for us to find what's best for us.  I will keep this post as a form of reminder that His Love is never ending like rivers of living water or spring of life.  He is only waiting for our hearts to be open.

    More power to you.
